Marble Segments for natural soft stone cutting blades

Because marble and granite demand opposite bond behavior, and the granite formulation is exactly wrong for soft stone. Granite is hard and abrasive: it wears the bond quickly, so a granite segment uses a bond that holds diamond until the stone pulls it free. Marble and limestone are soft and low-abrasion: they cannot wear a hard bond fast enough, the bond surface polishes over the diamond, and the segment glazes within minutes — same brand, same quality, wrong physics. The fix is the formulation, not the operator: soft stone segments run freer bonds that release diamond at the rate the stone demands. This is also why segment purchases should be split by material class from the start — a shop cutting both granite and marble stocks two formulations, and running one segment family across both stones guarantees one of them underperforms.

No — they serve different machine structures, even on the same stone. A marble circular segment is built for a rotating steel core: 40 mm standard length, diameter-scaled thickness and rim-speed-driven loading. A gang saw segment serves a thin steel band in a reciprocating frame: 20 mm length, width pairs matched to 2–4 mm blade bodies, and frame-wide thickness consistency as the critical tolerance.
