Specialized Cutting Wire Saw for Every Material Challenge

Real Cutting Performance & Key Metrics

DINOSAW diamond wire is an application-configured cutting system: 0.35 to 12 mm diameters spanning micro-wire precision through heavy quarry duty, with bead specification, wire body construction and joint quality matched to the actual machine and material — broad machine coverage, configured per system.

0.35–12 mm

Wire Diameter Range

The full wire spectrum: micro-wire at 0.35 mm for precision cutting through heavy quarry and construction wire at 12 mm — one product family across wire saw classes.

4 Classes

Application Classes

Precision micro-wire (0.35–2 mm), production wire (7–11 mm) for CNC and construction, and heavy-duty 12 mm for quarry and demolition — each class engineered for its duty.

Custom Config

Machine-Matched Specification

Wire length, diameter, bead spacing and joining are configured per machine system: quarry wires, CNC wire saws and wall saws each receive their own construction.

Controlled Joint

Joining Quality

Every closed-loop wire depends on its joint: joining method, dimensional consistency and finishing determine whether the connection survives repeated pulley bending without becoming the first failure point.

Application material classes: Stone (granite, marble), concrete, refractory materials and metal.

Typical applications: Quarry block extraction, CNC contour cutting, demolition and construction cutting, refractory dismantling and metal sectioning.

Actual wire life varies with material hardness, machine parameters, water condition and operator practice. Machine fit cannot be assumed — wire is configured per system.

Specs and options

Diamond wire is configured per application: diameter from 0.35 mm (precision micro-cutting) to 12 mm (heavy quarry and construction), with bead specification, spacing and wire construction per material class and machine system. Broad machine coverage is provided through per-system configuration, not universal construction.

Diamond wire saws for different materials, manufacturing processes, and formulations vary significantly in performance and lifespan. If you're unsure about selecting the right diamond wire saw for your specific application, please contact our technical team for professional consultation.

Core Technology & Wire Structure

Four engineering decisions behind the wire program. The numbered points on the wire diagram correspond to the systems below.

Wire Selection Workflow

Match the wire in four steps: identify the material class and its hardness, select the machine system and confirm its pulley diameters, choose the diameter class per cutting requirement — precision, production or heavy duty — then set tension, feed and water per the machine's operating chart, tracking meters per wire as the life baseline.

01

Bead Engineering

The bead is the actual cutting unit: diamond grade, concentration, bond and bead diameter are selected around the material, so marble, granite, concrete and metal do not run on one compromise bead specification — the bead program is the wire's core technology.

02

Wire Body Construction

Core construction, winding and coating determine flexibility and fatigue behavior through thousands of pulley cycles: quarry wire prioritizes heavy cyclic loading, CNC wire prioritizes path stability and tighter geometry — each construction is its own engineering, matched to the machine it runs on.

03

Joint Quality

The joint is where a closed-loop wire lives or fails: joining method, dimensional consistency and finishing quality determine whether the connection survives repeated pulley bending without becoming the first failure point — joint integrity is a specification, not an afterthought.

04

Micro-Wire Precision

0.35–2 mm micro-wire serves precision programs where kerf width, valuable-material yield and fine contour capability matter more than maximum removal rate — the wire class for precision cutting applications.

05

Mid-Range Production Wire

The 7–11 mm class carries the mainstream production load: CNC stone cutting, contour work and construction cutting where cutting rate and wire life balance — the diameter range most wire saw fleets run daily.

06

Heavy-Duty 12 mm Wire

12 mm wire is built around higher bead load, abrasion resistance and fatigue durability: quarry extraction and heavy construction cutting demand the maximum removal rate per cut, and the heavy construction serves exactly that duty.

Diamond Wire Selection & Use FAQ

Common Questions About Diamond Wire Saws

Diameter follows the cutting requirement, and the trade-off is precision versus removal rate. At the precision end, 0.35–2 mm micro-wire cuts narrow kerfs for valuable stock and fine contours — the wire of choice where material loss is money and surface quality is inspected. Mid-range diameters of 7–11 mm serve the mainstream: CNC stone cutting, contour work and construction cutting where cutting rate and wire life balance. At the heavy end, 12 mm wire carries maximum bead load for quarry extraction and demolition where speed per cut matters more than kerf width. The machine sets the boundary: pulley diameters, drive power and wire speed ratings all constrain diameter choice — a wire too thick for the pulley system fatigues prematurely at the joint. The selection sequence is material first, machine second, diameter third: specify all three to DINOSAW and the configuration arrives matched.
